I made the mistake of giving them a "refundable" deposit. Now they will not leave me alone. Constant emails and phone calls and no response to my asking them to refund my deposit. Their website lists no owners or execs. and a google search shows nothing.

UPDATE: the review below was written 3 years ago, and expresses how I felt at that time. But I believe it is important to update briefly what happened after I gave the magazine 5 stars. Without going into too much detail for the public… I have had to lower them to a 3-star rating. I terminated our business relationship with American Lifestyle Magazine and Reminder Media after a very, very sad series of incidents with their management and tech teams. I temporarily suspended our account due to a severe case of COVID, and explained that we would return as soon as I was able to. I even kept in touch with them on a regular basis to let them know I was still under medical care and unable to design our magazine yet. Well much to my surprise, they actually locked me out of my account and refused to even return MY full Data Base to me!! Everyone knows that that data base is the lifeline of our business for a Realtor, without which we don’t have a business. And I ran my CRM out of the magazine for a number of years. To tell the entire story would take up too much time and space. But suffice it to say…things did not end well. So sadly, I had to say goodbye. —————————————— My husband and I are Realtors who have sent out American Lifestyle to our clients and friends for several years. We receive amazing compliments from the recipients weekly. Friends tell us it is beautifully presented, the articles are very engaging, & the recipes are incredible. Many of them tell us they save every issue! This magazine is a great & subtle way to stay in front of our friends and clients, without having to bombard them with endless emails and letters about Real Estate listings. And a personal shout-out to my Account Manager, Phoenix. She is simply the best! Always available for me, and sticks with me until my Custom Ads look absolutely perfect!

Terrible operating business. The products they offered weren't something I really wanted but they are relentless in pressuring you into it. I worked with 4 or 5 different people and numerous things would get lost in translation during the handing me off from one person to another. After everything, I did not use the online digital stuff like I told them I wouldn't and probably won't use the magazines they provided because they were messed up. After numerous times contacting them to get corrections made to the magazines that were supposed to have already been previously corrected, and being reassured they were good, the MAGAZINES STILL SHOWED UP MESSED UP. Then, a guy named Rusty Tucci, ACCUSED ME of overlooking the problems with the magazines and said it shouldn't take away from the value of the magazine. The only solution he would offer was for me to buy more magazines even after I explained that there should either offer be a full refund, or provide correct copies free of charge. Awful experience. Hopefully this review will motivate them to change their business practices so this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This is a high-pressure sales company that harasses Realtors for their business. They misrepresent their product promotions and will not refund your money! Realtors RUN AWAY from doing business with this company. They don't take "no" for an answer and will call you every 6-12 months even when you ask them to stop calling you!

I agreed to try Remindermedia for a short while, and after a few months decided it wasn't for me. It was then that I discovered I was actually in a contract for one year. This wasn't explained up front. I cancelled as early as I could, but ended up having to pay for issues I didn't want. They're nice to work with when you're sending them money every month, but that quickly changes when you want out. They reached out to me 6 months later to see if I wanted to give it another try, because they had a new product available. The salesperson immediately entered her pitch, and I quickly figured out that the new product wasn't any better than what they had before. I began telling her this, and she immediately interrupted me with why this was better. As she went on, I offered more objections which were met with more canned responses. She went as far as to tell me that I was the only real estate agent she'd ever spoken to who wanted to only send out real estate related marketing materials. Completely ridiculous. I told her I was done with the hard sales pitch and she interrupted me yet again, just to deny it and continue into another pitch. The fact that so many of their positive reviews are from people who've worked there should serve as a red flag. My advice is to find a marketing company who actually understands the real estate market you work in, and avoid companies like this.

Unscrupulous Individuals. If you do not continuously do an issue they cancel your account and want you to pay another set up fee. They offer you free magazines for referrals but will not credit your account for them. Stay away from this den of thieves.
